Expectant mothers( Pregnant women) in Lusaka's Kanyama and Kabanana areas remind government to ensure that mothers' shelter and the dilapidated roads leading to health institutions in their respective areas are worked so as to facilitate their access to health services .

“If only I knew that there were services such as Sexual and Reproductive Health Services, I could not have fallen pregnant while I was still at school,” Faith Buyamba, a youth based in Kitwe, on the Copper belt province believes. Faith Faith who fell pregnant at the age of 17, recalls that after missing her menstrual periods ,she decided to go for a pregnancy test but because of the way she was treated by some healthcare providers she opted to abort, after being advised by her friends but did not succeed. “I went to do a pregnancy test, because I wanted to be sure whether I was pregnant or not after missing my periods.  However, I was afraid to go to the nearby health facility because there were a lot of people I knew who were so close to my mum. In its continued efforts to promote dialogue and advocate for the inclusion of economic social and cultural rights in Zambia’s constitution, FIAN International Zambia, a  human rights organization which advocates for the right to adequate food and nutrition ,  held a training on these rights in Lusaka the capital city of Zambia on the 31 August 2022. The training which was facilitated by legal experts attracted about 25 participants from various media and Civil Society Organisations-CSOs. During the training, participants were brought to speed on, the importance and why the economic social and cultural rights must be included in the Bill of Rights of the Zambian constitution.
